I guess these posts are getting to be monthly updates--not my original plan, but a good way of making an online album/timeline. This was a big month, Antonia voted for the first time! (She voted for Big Bird) She's learning colors and letters, in part thanks to discovering that Elmo is part of a longer TV show called Sessy street and in part thanks to her teachers at "Koo"

Antonia's big picture window is a great place to watch the sunrise |

This is me at 1 with my Aunt Elizabeth. Sara found the picture in Arlington and sent it with the caption: WHO IS THIS!? |
Cheese! |
The weather has been pretty glorious, so we've been out hiking several times. Antonia stays in the backpack if another kid is in hers, but otherwise she just wants to "walk walk" |
Lining up rocks |
This was probably the most exciting thing that has ever happened! |
Date night at the Space Upstairs: Second Saturdays of every month they have these great shows. I'm so excited to have discovered another of Pittsburgh's treasures |

Tender moment of early morning chaussettes |
We tried to make Farmors bullar but yeast isn't the same here so they didn't rise enough. Better luck next batch! |
Making faces |
An attempt at a group shot. No one was paying attention apparently... |
Proving that it's impossible to know WHAT you're supposed to learn, Antonia has taken to "peeing" on trees like her big brother, Figo. |
Pasta picnic! |
We were invited to my favorite Pittsburgh family, the Smith's house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was in their newly renovated kitchen and there were 21 of us over age 12 and 4 toddlers. Delicious food and company. They're the best!

Playing boop the finger with Elizabeth |
Another cozy morning with interior design magazines! |
I came across this at the grocery store and I laughed so hard. I included it here because I can now officially report that Antonia is weaned. 22 months. I'm a proud boob mama. |
Since we didn't have leftovers from Thanksgiving, Sara and I recooked a mini-Thanksgiving on Friday with a chicken. We had a great dance party in the kitchen while doing it! |
Go dodo Ossi |
Candle making |
This year's first snow! And this year Antonia really seems excited by it. |
Perplexing |
New favorite meal: soup |
At Emilia's 4th disco dance birthday party! |
Where Antonia ran around like a banshee and got to eat goldfish and pizza for dinner! Heaven! |
But then sometimes it's hard to play with the big girls |
I made the advent candle holder a bit more festive in another procrastination craft project. Can't wait to decorate the house for Christmas!
