So here are a few images from the morning. I have to say, it was a pretty special memory.
This is for all the people who want to see how a PhD student in French Literature juggles life, baby, dog, cat, husband, and social life. Because what an adventure, right?

Hinamatsuri
Yesterday March 3, 2013, Antonia was invited to celebrate Hinamatsuri (Japanese Girls' Day) with her good friend Imogen. While the adults drank plum wine and ate the most deliciously beautiful food, the girls played, got dressed up in the cotton kimonos called yukata that Imogen's mom, Patty HAD SEWN HERSELF until all hours of the morning while working a full time job as an architect and nursing her 8 month old and juggling a 2.5 year old. I mean really. I am constantly impressed by my friends and their accomplishments, from restoring old houses, crafting, gardening, raising wonderful children all while making the world a better place. It's a lot to ask but someone has to do it!
So here are a few images from the morning. I have to say, it was a pretty special memory.
