Rehoboth Beach with the Wagners 2013

In July Antonia and I took a little road trip to Harrisburg where Papa was working and played tourist for a night before heading to D.C. to deal with embassy stuff.

At the French Embassy in D.C. playing hide and seek in the courtyard while Papa gets his passport renewed.

We had hit the road at 6 am to make it in time for our appointment so we needed a little relaxation in Georgetown

Leopold's for early lunch!

Being tourists in D.C. with Mumia

It was about this moment that Mumia discovered she didn't have her phone and was convinced someone had pickpocketed her. We found it in the car 45 minutes later.

Hi Abe!

I made a quick dinner for Uncle Martin and Aunt Elizabeth, then we hit the road the next morning for Rehoboth!

Reunited with Ossi. Feels so good.

Start of the Julia obsession?

Beach games

Ayla the hotel parrot. A big hit.

Whack a mole

We won Antonia about 25 prizes. SENSORY OVERLOAD captured on camera.

Early morning boat ride around the bay. Very cool that we were able to get Martin's wheelchair on!

I have this photo at every body of water these two have ever been near.

Scared of the minnows for bait

Mid week we took a little jaunt to NYC to see Sara perform at the Moth Story Grand Slam! You can see Sara's reticence to have her picture taken with her dorky mother and sister.

Liquid courage before the show at Cubana Social, where Michael Cera met us after. (Well, he was there)

Long line outside the theatre.

Sara did SO WELL! The girl who won is getting a big bear hug in this picture.

Wayne, an old friend from Pitt came to visit me and Michael Cera at the bar after the show!

Farm stand en route back to Rehoboth after being in Brooklyn for 15 hours.

Peeing in the bushes with Julia: fuel for the Julia obsession?

Fishing and hangovers!

The fish I caught was gigamundo

Proof of hangover

Driving home with the Funland prizes we had vowed to leave behind...
