Dragon Halloween

Antonia has been a tiny bit obsessed with dragons lately. Sometimes they're scary, sometimes they're funny, and sometimes they are calling to her from the basement (creepy). So I put together a dragon costume for her for Halloween. We went trick or treating in the pouring rain in Point Breeze and I felt a horrible pang of guilt for abandoning my neighborhood for the 2 hour trick or treating. We usually have 200-300 trick or treaters come to our house and we sit on the porch drinking cider (beer) and saying "Take one" to each of the monsters/spidermen. But this year Antonia spent it with her friends Tilly and Elleana and they were all wingèd cutie patooties.

Daycare Halloween party

An attempt at a group shot. Most of them had shed one or all elements of their costumes...

We discovered the drill for jack o'lantern carving this year. Fast and easy! And it made for some luminario style eeriness.

It's supposed to be a spider web.

Trying to get the kids near this lawn decoration was difficult. It was pretty scary!

November 1 walk in Frick Park. It was such a gorgeous day and a good reminder that Pittsburgh is a pretty awesome place to live.

For Halloween I went as Sigourney Weaver from Alien 4! Here's my host :) Boy or girl? We'll find out soon!
